Become a Literacy Buddy

Anyone, any age, anywhere can become a Literacy Buddy! It doesn’t take much time and all exchanges are done by mail. Many Literacy Buddies are winter residents of Sarasota.

Roving Readers

This program is for those volunteers who would like to regularly commit to reading to young children and be assigned to a particular site or classroom where they come on a regular basis to read to groups of children, and/or assist the teacher in other projects that support reading skills.
